Celebrations in Focus will store your personal details on a private secure database where they will be unavailable to any companies or individuals apart from Celebrations in Focus. Should you wish to permanently remove your details from our database please advise us in writing.
A non refundable deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking, together with a signed contract. Your wedding date is confirmed once funds have cleared. A 14-day unconditional refund policy exists. Please contact us in writing within 14 days.
The balance is due 14 days prior to the wedding date. Payment of additional photographs is to be made when these are ordered at a later date.
The photographers shall be granted creative and artistic license in relation to the choice of location, backgrounds and poses used. The photographers’ judgment on photographic style and number of images taken shall be deemed correct. The photographers will do all that is possible to honor requested subjects but does not undertake to guarantee any specific picture. However in the instances where bad weather, non participation of guests, bride and groom, associated parties or any other circumstance at the event, the best judgment of Celebrations in Focus shall be made. If for any reason, Celebrations in Focus experience a lack of cooperation from the bride & groom or associated parties & photographs are unable to be taken to Celebrations in Focus’s instructions, Celebrations in Focus cannot be held liable.
Under the 1988 Copyright Designs and Patents Act, the copyright of all photographs belong to the photographers and Celebrations in Focus. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied any photographs belonging to the photographers. It is a requirement of the contract that all reprints/copies are to be handled through Celebrations in Focus. Any use of the photographs for publication purposes by the client shall require the permission of Celebrations in Focus. Celebrations in Focus has the right to use any photographs under this contract for display, publication or competition.
The deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels the wedding at any time. Cancellations of any wedding within 26 weeks of the wedding date will result in the client being liable to pay 50% of the package fee booked. Cancellation of any wedding within 12 weeks of the wedding date will result in the client being liable to pay the full amount of the package fee booked. The said sum is payable as compensation of lost bookings and other losses Celebrations in Focus may suffer.
It is assumed that all preview albums and such like items shall be returned via hand or by postage. If postage is used as a method from the client to return preview albums or any such item, it is necessary to send these goods by either registered post or silver guarantee service to ensure safe arrival back to Celebrations in Focus. If the goods are not received by Celebrations in Focus, it shall be assumed that theses methods of postage have not been used and the client may be held responsible for the full value of the goods.
In extenuating circumstances, example death, personal injury or sickness to the photographers (this list is not exhaustive) Celebrations in Focus reserve the right to seek to find a replacement photographer to undertake the contract. Celebrations in Focus cannot be held responsible for the breach of this contract due to circumstances beyond their control. These circumstances include but are not limited to: lack of access to the venue, church/reception/ venue becoming unavailable and weather conditions preventing travelling for example.
